On July 4th, 1776, the United States Declaration of Independence was signed. To celebrate we will be have a special Independence Day Adventure, with an amazing mural as the prize! The Independence Day Adventure will be available starting July 2nd through July 6th, just click Tenderfoot on the beach to begin.
Also, join us on the beach for some fun in the sun on Sat July 3rd and 4th! On the beach, we will reveal the first winner of the turtle lamp design contest. Go to the beach and click on the winning lamp to add to your home. Below you will find some of the entries from the turtle lamp design contest!
We’re encouraging players all across the island to throw their very own July 4th Parties too! Dress in your best red, white and blue outfit and stop in the Curio some 4th of July items, which will include a new dance floor!

An Earthly Adventure and Top Prizes
Monday, May 10th, 2010Xeko you are doing a great job, so far members have contributed 76,224 lbs to the GoodQuest goal.
Your Mission: Starting Wed. May 12, come to the island to take an Earthly Adventure. The Earthly Adventure is open to ALL players, you have until the close of game on Monday May 17th to complete. For every player that completes the adventure, 100 lbs will be added to the community GoodQuest goal. Visit the Beach and click Tenderfoot, the flying gnome, to get started!
GoodQuest Reminder: Players that contribute at least 500 lbs will be awarded with a special plaque. Players that contribute at least 1,000 lbs will also earn an awesome badge as a reward for all their hard work! You have to contribute at least 150 lbs to earn access to the exclusive GoodQuest clue room.
All lbs will be added by close of game on May 18th. Pounds will be added to the goal, but not to your individual quest contribution.

Earth Hour Adventure

Saturday March 27, people around the world will be celebrating Earth Hour. During Earth Hour, you are encouraged to turn off your lights. Millions will participate to show that we are united in the effort to save our Earth.
Xeko will close for from 8:30pm-9:30pm EDT to help and encourage others to conserve energy.
At 9:30pm EDT, return to the island to take a special Earth Hour Adventure. Visit Tenderfoot on the beach starting at 9:30pm EDT on March 27 to begin this Adventure. You only have until close of game Sunday March 28th to complete the Adventure.
Message from Xeko HQ: When you turn the lights back on use a florescent light bulb. Florescent bulbs use 75 percent less energy than a regular bulb – and it can last up to four years.
Leaping Lemur Adventure
