Great work Elf Island, you have met another QuestGoal.  This time, we have helped to ensure that a real Giant Panda will receive the food and medical supplies it needs for four months!  With fewer than 1,600 Giant Pandas left on the world, each one is so important to the survival of this amazing species.  Pandas International has identified a cub who needs our help.

Han Yuan was born in 2008.  She was the younger of twins born to Long Xin on July 21, 2008.   Han Yuan was 3.92 oz at birth, but a whole year later she now weighs 46.2 lbs!  The Bifengxia Panda Club, who currently care for Han Yuan, say that she likes sports and always wants to play with keepers and other panda babies.   Han Yuan is very active and needs lots of care; your hard work will ensure that she receives everything she needs to stay strong for 4 more months.

Pandas International is very excited to have Elf Island helping them to keep Giant Pandas cared for and looks forward to sharing more information about Han Yuan and the Island’s continued support of this cause.   Keep watching for future updates on the Elf Island Giant Panda.

UPDATE: Elf Island’s next GoodQuest will be live tomorrow afternoon! Help rescue polar bears in the Arctic from CO2 in our GoodQuest while helping us to track polar bears in the real world.

Congratulations, Islanders!

With all of us working together, we’ve managed to pull within reach of the GoodQuest goal. Keep up the good work as the Panda GoodQuest comes to a close. We’re now hard at work planning our GoodQuest Party, which starts Friday, July 31.

With this GoodQuest drawing to an end, we’re now ready to announce the levels that our high scorers must meet in order to win the final prizes. Anyone who has rescued 125 pandas will receive the Top Panda plaque to hang in their home. Additionally, anyone who has rescued 300 pandas will also get to wear a limited time badge during the GoodQuest Party.

The final day to participate is this Friday, so there’s still time to join in or to put in a little extra work if you’re striving for the top prizes. It’s not over yet, so keep it up. If we meet the GoodQuest Goal, all elves that rescued at least 12 Pandas will get a QuestKey on Saturday, August 1. Good luck!
