Computer GoodQuest Party

robot2 default By working together the Xeko community has completed the Computer GoodQuest and helped do GOOD by providing computers to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Congratulations, islanders! January 9th and January 10th, Xeko will be holding a party to celebrate our achievements in the Computer GoodQuest.

The new party room will be opening soon and will feature a unique gift for attendees on both Saturday and Sunday. Make sure to visit Xeko both days to get both gifts! Hosts will also be equipped with a new prize available to players that participate in our daily games during the party. (more…)

New Year 2010 Party

2010 sign Xeko is holding a New Year 2010 Party and you’re invited! The main festivities will take place in the Holiday Hollow on December 31st and January 1st.

Visit the Holiday Hollow on either of those days to collect a special party gift. The gift will appear on December 31st and repeat for any players that miss it on January 1st. Players can also visit the top of the Holiday Hollow throughout the party to watch New Year countdowns from across the world! (more…)

Holiday Home Decorating Contest

inflatable snow globe default The Holidays have arrived on Xeko, so it’s time to start decorating your island. Xeko is challenging our players to a Holiday Home Decorating Contest!

Our judges will be looking for unique and creative rooms that make good use of our Holiday themed goods. Ten winners will receive an exclusive prize and 1,000 coins each.

Decorate your home and, with help from your parents, submit a screenshot to support@elfisland.com between December 25th and December 27th. Please keep your decorations in place until December 28th so that our judges can get a closer look at all rooms. Only one submission per account. All submissions must be received by close of game on December 27th.

Holiday Tree Lighting

candy table default Xeko – Elf Island will be holding a special Holiday Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 17th. Join us as we gather around the Holiday Tree in the Ice Cavern in anticipation for this special event.

All attendees will receive a free gift. After the official tree lighting at 7:30 EST, we’ll also be opening Santa’s Naughty or Nice vault! In the Naughty or Nice Vault, players will be rated by how much GOOD they’ve helped to do on the island. Give more gifts and donate more to the Scale of Good to increase your good rating.

Snowman Adventure

winter snowman The Winter Holidays are the perfect time to build a snowman! Join Xeko on a Snowman Adventure that will challenge you to find hidden snowmen across the island and collect parts to build a snowman of your very own. You can begin this Adventure starting December 16th by clicking Tenderfoot the gnome on the Beach.

Players that complete this Adventure by close of game on Sunday, December 20th will win an awesome Winter Snowman!

Holiday Tree Decorating

HolidayTree It’s time to put up your Holiday tree! Visit the Holiday Curio today to buy a tree and decorations for your home.

Decorate your tree ANY way you would like. Then contact HOST-Groovy through private message on either Saturday, December 12th or Sunday, December 13th between 1pm-9pm EST and let her know about your decorated tree. Groovy will be visiting the homes of players who have decorated trees and giving them a special prize!

Only one prize per player. Your tree must be decorated to earn a prize. Players will receive their prize by Monday, December 14th.

Unveiling Xeko! Chat Re-Cap

Thank you to all of the islanders that participated in the chat Monday night with Lamina and Braunsweiger. There was a lot of information unveiled and many great questions asked. Below is a summary of the chat.

Is this in a way a good bye to Elf Island and hello to a total new game?

Braunsweiger & Lamina: NO, this is not goodbye to Elf Island, it’s hello to Xeko. When the islanders first arrived, the island had no name, so it was called Elf Island. Artifacts were recently found, and we are learning more about the island. It’s always been the lost land of Xeko. If you look around, you will notice that much of the Island’s magic comes from nature. It’s rumored that Xeko understands the magic of nature and Xeko’s motto is Be a Force for Good!

Holiday Trading

The Elf Island Hosts are holding a special Holiday Trade on Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th.

Find a Host on one of those two days and make them an offer. If your offer is accepted, you will get one of two exciting Holiday presents! Keep an eye on the What’s Happening feature to find out when and where Hosts are actively trading.

The best times to look for a host are between 1pm-9pm EST.

Dinner with Groovy

Visit Groovy’s home between 5:30pm-9pm EST for a memorable Thanksgiving feast. Tour Groovy’s decorated home, play Fall themed Host games to win prizes, and gather with friends around a dinner table for a night of fun. All attendees will receive a Mashed Mountain as a gift.

There will also be a special Holiday preview during the final hour of the event, so don’t miss it!
