Shark GoodQuest Party

Congratulations Elf Islanders, we’ve reached the goal for the Shark GoodQuest. Now it’s time to celebrate!

This weekend is our GoodQuest Party. The Party Room will appear Friday, February 27th and the special events will begin on Saturday, February 28th.

Make sure to log-in hourly throughout the day Saturday between 10am-11pm (edit: previously listed as 11am-12am. This was a mistake. If this caused you to miss the first prize, report it using the M button.) EST to receive all 14 Galapagos collectibles. The same collectibles will repeat on Sunday for those that missed them. Click on the starfish in the Party Room to receive the gift of the hour. Whenever the starfish glows, it means a new gift has appeared! There will also be special animations during the party and visits from Gusto!

Look forward to Shark GoodQuest themed Host games, exclusive Host prizes, and awards handed out to our top participants in the GoodQuest! If you haven’t cleared a zone yet, or still want to increase your zones cleared count, it’s not too late! Our Top 10 zone clearers will receive a temporary Shark GoodQuest badge to wear to the Party, and all elves that cleared at least 301 zones will be awarded the Top Shark Plaque.

And best of all, on Saturday all players who cleared at least one zone will receive their QuestKey! With your QuestKey, you will unlock part of the secret of Elf Island, access secret rooms, and discover exciting prizes!

Tiki Takedown Hi-Score Contest

The final scores have been recorded, we’ve analyzed the data, and the results are in! The following are the Top 10 unique players to receive a high score in the Tiki Takedown contest.

Quest Goal Complete!

Congratulations, Islanders! We achieved our goal of 30,000 zones cleared in the Shark GoodQuest. Because of YOU, six warden boats will be repaired in the REAL world to help catch REAL poachers. This will help save REAL sharks and other animals in the Galapagos Islands!

Though the goal has been met, the GoodQuest doesn’t officially end until Friday. If you haven’t cleared at least one zone, it’s not too late to join the fun, and guarantee that you get a QuestKey! With your QuestKey, you will unlock new places, receive special prizes, and discover another part of the secret of Elf Island!

There will also be special prizes for our top zone clearers at the end of the quest, so to make sure to keep on catching those poachers!

The SharkQuest Party begins this Friday, with prizes given out every hour on Saturday and Sunday! See you there! More information on the Quest party coming soon.

Elf Island’s latest update has introduced a lot of exciting new things. Here’s what’s new today:

New Shipwreck room located off the shore of Elf Island. This mysterious room is filled with treasure and has only appeared for those that built at least one house during the HouseQuest
New mask in the hat section of your wardrobe
New goods celebrating Mardi Gras in the Holiday Curio
New Mardi Gras Host prizes
Get a sneak peek of home add-ons by visiting the homes of the Elf Island Staff

Elf Island Stimulus Plan

Overview of the Elf Island Stimulus Plan

Elf Island is preparing to officially launch on April 1. To recognize all of our users, we are offering a special offer for those users who sign up prior to April 1. This early bird special called the Elf Island Stimulus Package will last 28 days starting on March 3 and ending on March 31.

The special pricing gives you 40% off a full year price with the ability to add additional family members or users for only $10 per new user, up to 4 additional users.

SharkQuest Update

As the SharkQuest nears an end, we need everyone to make a BIG push if we want to reach the Quest Goal.

If you want to earn the QuestKey, unlock part of the Secret of Elf Island, and repair all six warden boats in the real world, we have to reach the goal first!

To reward our community for their hard work in the Shark GoodQuest, and to provide everyone with a little extra inspiration to keep trying, Elf Island will be running a special promotion on Saturday, February 21st and Sunday, February 22nd.

Any islander that catches 27 poachers on Saturday and/or Sunday will receive a “No Finning” sign to help show their support for sharks! If you manage to catch 27 poachers on BOTH days, you’ll receive two signs.

Come on Elf Islanders, we can still do it!!!

Prizes will be awarded by Monday, February 23rd. Please do not request a prize through the M button.

UPDATE: Due to confusion regarding the rules of this contest, the prize will go to everyone that cleared at least 27 zones combined between Saturday and Sunday. Anyone that cleared at least 54 zones on Saturday and Sunday will receive 2 prizes.

Pet Day

Meet WildAid

On Thursday, February 19^th, Elf Island will be hosting a very special chat event with two representatives from one of our non-profit partners, WildAid.

“WildAid” and “SaveSharks” will be on the island from 7-8 PM EST to talk about sharks, the SharkQuest, and animal protection. Islanders that attend this event will receive a limited edition Hammerhead Shark Wind Up Toy from our Hosts, so come with questions prepared!

Meet WildAid at the Beach and SaveSharks at the Marsh. You can identify both of these speakers by their new guest speaker badge when you roll over them with your mouse. Hope to see you there!

And of course, remember to keep on catching those poachers in the SharkQuest!!!

President’s Day

Join Elf Island on Monday, February 16^th to celebrate President’s Day!!!

The Elf Island Hosts will have two unique host prizes available tomorrow only! Log-in throughout the day for your chance to win both.

We’ll also be searching the island for elves wearing red, white and blue. If you find a Host while dressed in these patriotic colors, wish them a “Happy President’s Day!” to receive your choice of a red, white or blue balloon!

Mini-Games and Contest

As many of you have probably noticed, we’ve recently made some updates to a few of our mini-games. These changes were made in order to improve the experience, and we’re continuing to work on making the scoring and coin payout more balanced for all games. We thank you for your patience during this time.

Based on feedback from our community, we have decided to make all mini-game scores reset on a weekly basis. This gives all players a chance to try their hand at getting the top score for the week!

So what does this mean for the Tiki Takedown Hi-Score Contest? Rather than just awarding those with their names on the score board at the end of the month, we will now give prizes to those that have received the highest scores between Feb 2-26. If you manage to get a high score during the month, you’ll receive a prize whether you’re currently on the score board or not. Additionally, we will expand the winner count from top 7 to the top 10.

Lastly, don’t forget to check out Elf Island’s newest game, Snow Brawl, located in the Ice Cavern!

UPDATE: For clarification, “If you manage to get a high score during the month, you’ll receive a prize whether you’re currently on the score board or not.” means that you did not have to be on the score board at the end of the contest to receive the prize. However, only the top 10 will receive the prize.
