Friday, May 01 is May Day on Elf Island, and we’re encouraging everyone to do GOOD by purchasing a Good Basket from the Holiday Curio and gifting it to their friends.

Generous players who gift a Good Basket to another player will receive a special surprise. Happy May Day! Hurry up, this limited time item will disappear from the Curio after May 03.

You must gift the Good Basket, not trade. A prize is only received the first time a basket is gifted. The gift recipient cannot re-gift it to receive the prize.

Monday, April 27^th is Tell a Story Day.

Elf Island has a story to tell, but we need YOUR help to tell it. Our staff will be telling a story through announcements throughout the day. But each announcement will only be part of the story. Players have until closing time April 28^th to put all of the announcements in order to tell the right story!

The storytelling announcements will be sent hourly starting at 11am and ending at 4 pm. They will then re-start in a new order and repeat from 5pm to 10 pm just in case you missed any.

Once you think that you’ve unraveled the story, put it all together and send it through the M button for submission. All players that correctly tell the story will receive a special Short Story Day prize!

Only one submission per Elf. Prizes will be awarded by Tuesday, April 28^th.

Great work so far on the Niger GoodQuest, elves! But the Elf Island community has fallen a bit behind where we should be in order to meet the goal.

Elf Island is running a special promotion this weekend (April 24th-26th) to help us get back on track. All elves that plant at least 30 trees during this time will receive a special prize. That gives you three full days to plant just 30 virtual trees and help the community to earn the QuestKey and plant real trees in Niger. Even better, you will receive a repeat prize for every 30 trees you plant. Meaning if you plant at least 90 trees, you will receive 3!

Come on Elf Island, we can do it!

Forget spring cleaning, it’s time for spring decorating on Elf Island! Make sure to decorate your home, judging for our spring decorating contest takes place on April 24^th and 25^th.

To enter, please send a request through the M button on either April 24th or 25th to have your room judged. Be sure to specify one room in your home to have judged. There is no need to remain in your room to wait for the judge.

Remember to be unique and creative, and stick to a spring theme. The 10 best rooms will be featured in The Tide next week and will receive a special prize and coins.

Please only enter your room in the contest once. Any judging requests sent on a date other than April 24th or 25th will not be included in the contest.

Wednesday, April 22nd is Earth Day and Elf Island is celebrating!

Throughout the day, the Elf Island Hosts will be looking for elves that are dressed alike. Gather your friends and convince them to dress in the same colors and clothes as you and you just might receive a prize from our Hosts!

Saturday April 18^th is Animal Cracker Day on Elf Island!

To celebrate the occasion, two Elf Island themed Animal Crackers will be heading to the Holiday Curio. These items are exclusively available this weekend, so make sure to get them before they’re gone! The Trunkflutter Cracker and Turtlebug Cracker will appear in the Holiday Curio on Friday, April 17^th and will be removed after Sunday, April 19^th.

There will also be a Panthex Cracker available as a Host prize exclusively this weekend. If you want to complete your Elf Island Animal Cracker collection, make sure to log-in and participate in the Host games!

April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month, and Elf Island is spreading the word!

On Wednesday, April 15^th, make sure to dress in orange and tell the Elf Island Hosts to “Go Orange for Animals!” to receive a special gift. Our Hosts will be visiting rooms across the island all day for this one day giveaway.
